ANNUAL CONFERENCE
On this the 12th day of January 2004, upon motion made by Commissioner Letz,
seconded by Commissioner Williams, the Court unanimously approved by a
vote of 4-0-0, adopting a resolution to host the 2006 West Texas Judges and
Commissioners Association Annual Conference.

RESOLUTION
BE IT REMEMBERED, that on the 12~' day of January, 2004, at a regular meeting of
the Kerr County Commissioners' Court, the following Resolution was OFFERED and
ADOPTED, to wit:
WHEREAS, the West Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association
holds an annual conference, which is considered on of the most
prestigious and productive County-related conferences held in the
State of Texas; and
WHEREAS, Kerr County, as an active member of the West Texas County
Judges and Commissioners Association, would be honored to host
the Association's annual meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Annual Conference will bring an estimated 700 County Judges
and Commissioners and their families, as well as vendors and
exhibitors to Kerr County from all over with an estimated
economic impact of $650,000 going directly into our community's
economy; and
WHEREAS, as Host County, Kerr County can offer first class lodging and
meeting sites and will provide related conference activities that
will make the 2006 Annual Conference of the West Texas County
Judges and Commissioners Association one of the organization's
best ever.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Commissioners Court of Ken
County, do hereby welcome and invite the West Texas County
Judges and Commissioners Association to hold its 2006 Annual
Conference in Kerr County.
IN WITNESS, WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our hands on this the 12~' day of
