Leviticus 25:10 KERB COUNTY, TEXAS PROCLAMATION WHEREAS: America was founded on the principals of religious faith and freedom; and WHEREAS: Throughout the history of our country, we have humbly prayed for guidance and comfort where needed and have humbly given thanks for the many blessings that God has graciously bestowed on this nation since its inception; and WHEREAS: Prayer is regarded by millions as the most important utterance for mankind for its benefits; and WHEREAS: The National Day of Prayer is a day set aside by Congress for all Americans to pray and reaffirm spiritual principals upon which this nation is founded; and WHEREAS: This year marks the 53rd anniversary of the consecutive annual observance of the National Day of Prayer and the theme, Let Freedom Ring, the freedom to gather, the freedom to worship, the freedom to pray.
