Box 293002 Kerrville, TX. 78029 March 2, 2004 Judge Pat Tinley 700 Main Street Kerrville, TX 78028 Dear Sir, The Hill Country Automobile Club is planning our upcoming annual car show, which is normally held on July 4~'. This year we plan to have it on Saturday, the 3`d of July, beings the 4`~ falls on a Sunday. Our club is anon-profit organization and we hold a car show each year to raise money for our scholarship fund. Each spring we give out scholarships to deserving graduating students from area schools. We respectfully request permission the hold the show on the courthouse square. One of our members, Julius Nuenhoffer has conferred with Mindy Wendele of the Downtown Business Association, and she is most interested in the prospect of having a show in the area. Mr. Nuenhoffer has also spoken with Lu Ann Anderson of the Market Association and she saw no problem with us being on the square. In fact she welcomed the prospect as it would bring more people to their function. By having a show at the Courthouse square, it would bring a lot of business to the downtown, plus the recipients of the show could tour the Schreiner Mansion Museum and also the Kerr Arts and Cultural Center. Your consideration on this request would be greatly appreciated. For further information, you may call Mr. Neunhoffer at (830) 257-8168 or JoAnn Heck at (830) 257-5032 . Sincerely, C t~ ~ ~~=e-~d~ JoAnn Heck, President Hill Country Automobile Club Kerrville, TX. 78029
