Williams, Seconded by Commissioner Letz, the Court unanimously approved by a vote
of 4-0-0, the Resolution requesting permission from the Office of Rural Community
Affairs to amend TCDP Contract No. 722141 (Phase II) to include mitigation of thirteen
(13) septic tanks originally scheduled for mitigation under TCDP contract No. 721075.

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSIONER'S COURT OF KERB COUNTY, TX,
AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF A CONTRACT AMENDMENT
REQUEST FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT BETWEEN KERB
COUNTY AND THE OFFICE OF RURAL COMMUNITY AFFAIRS (THE OFFICE),
CONTRACT NUMBER 722411
WHEREAS Kerr County entered into a contract (721075) with the State of Texas to make
sewer system improvements in the Kerrville South area, and
WHEREAS Grant funds available are not sufficient to complete the required septic mitigation
for each household, and
WHEREAS Kerr County entered into a contract (722411) with the State of Texas to make
sewer system improvements in an area adjacent to the area described in grant #
721075
WHEREAS Kerr County desires to request permission from the Office to pay for the
mitigation of thirteen of the fifty four septic tanks with funds from grant #
722411 and to reflect those beneficiaries in the performance statement for
contract # 722411
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY COMMISSIONER'S COURT OF KERB
COUNTY, TX:
The Court authorizes a contract amendment request to be submitted to the Office for the
following proposed activities:
To mitigate thirteen septic tanks originally in project # 721075 and to reflect those
beneficiaries on the performance statement for contract # 722411
2. The Court directs and authorizes the County Judge to execute all necessary documents as
may be required to initiate and process this contract amendment request.
