I am not aware whether the commissioner's court or Judge Brown have considered some type of remembrance, but I wanted to remind you of this occasion in the event that Kerr County wanted to do something or at least make a press release. I am also writing because I have spoken to Judge Brown about the hanging of judicial portraits in the County Court at Law. The subject came up last year sometime and he encouraged me to have one made. Recently, Partain Photographs delivered a framed photograph of myself to Judge Brown ~~.~ho, he reports, delivered the carne to your ot~ice far consideration. I did not ask fr?r any type of ceremony or appearance, just an indication that the portrait had been received and displayed. I thought that, perhaps, the County Court at Law should receive similar treatment to the District Courts which have portraits hung of its former judges. In light of the upcoming anniversary, it may be a good time to consider beginning to display judicial portraits of the County Court of Law judges it the courtroom. I would appreciate hearing from you on the subject. Sincerely, William I_. Baskette, Encl.
