Resolution WHEREAS The United States of America has taken appropriate measures to ensure the safety of its residents in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks; and WHEREAS Kerr County has formed valuable financial and programmatic relationships with its partner jurisdictions to further Regional Homeland Security; and WHEREAS All residents in the Kerr County should be made aware of the need to practice vigilance and be prepared for any hazard; RESOLVED That Kerr County Commissioners' Court does hereby proclaim September 2004 as Emergency Preparedness Month in Kerr County and call upon all citizens to actively participate in Homeland Security preparation and defense.
