(Excel Meridian) to TSG Clients (Client) who purchase the DataNAS XP NAS Filer (DataNAS) as a storage device for use with the TSG Image Management software product. By purchasing this product, Client assumes responsibility for understanding the terms and conditions of Excel Meridian support and warranty services and the availability of those services. • In the event that a TSG Client experiences a problem or needs technical support with the processes of transferring, storing, indexing and retrieving Images to or from a TSG installed DataNAS device, or in the backup and restoration of those Images to or from tape media, the Client's first contact will be TSG Support at 800-966-6999 during normal business hours and excluding holidays. • TSG will provide technical support to the Client in the use of TSG Image Management software in conjunction with TSG Video Mugshots, TSG Document Imaging, TSG COLD Processing, and/or TSG _. Digital Camera Interface applications. Technical support will be provided in accordance with software and systems support agreements in effect between The Client and TSG at the time of the request for ..~ support. TSG does not support the use of a DataNAS device for any applications other than those described above. • If the reported problem or technical support request is determined by TSG support personnel to be related to DataNAS hardware (including tape drive) or operating system, the Client will be referred to contact Excel Meridian for support at 800-995-1014 in accordance with the warranty and service options chosen by and purchased by the Client from Excel Meridian. It is the sole responsibility of the Client to renew warranty coverage with Excel Meridian and the tape drive manufacturer beyond the initial term of warranty coverage purchased with the DataNAS and tape drive (1, 2, or 3 years available with initial purchase). In no event will TSG assume responsibility for any warranty repair or replacement of DataNAS or tape drive hardware during or after the Excel Meridian warranty period. TSG does not guarantee the availability of extended warranty service by Excel Meridian or tape drive manufacturer beyond the initial warranty period. If extended warranty service is offered after the initial warranty period, it may be subject to availability of parts. Any on-site services requested by the Client to troubleshoot, repair or reinstall DataNAS or tape drive hardware will not be included in any of the support or warranty services described above.
